dots files
dots files [options] [command]
Upload media files to a Dotabase file property or a page/row body, list stored objects, re-sign their URLs, and discard uncommitted uploads.
dots files upload
dots files upload [options]
Upload a media file to a file property (--dotabase + --property) or a page/row body (--owner + --owner-id).
Options:
--file <path>— Path to the local file to upload (required).--dotabase <ref>— Target Dotabase (UUID, slug, or canonical human id) for a file-property upload. Requires --property.--property <key>— File property key to attach the upload to. Requires --dotabase.--owner <kind>— Body-attachment owner kind: page | row. Requires --owner-id.--owner-id <uuid>— Body-attachment owner UUID (a page or row id). Requires --owner.--kind <kind>— Media kind override: image | audio | video | file. Omitted → the server derives it from the file's MIME type.--mime <type>— Content-type to send for the file (e.g. image/png). Omitted → inferred from the file extension.
dots files list
dots files list [options] [prefix]
List stored file objects under a key prefix, key-ordered so a page boundary is stable across requests. Each key returned is the full stored path sign and discard accept.
Arguments:
[prefix]— Key prefix to list under (e.g. <companyId>/chat). Omitted → this company's whole object namespace. It carries the same stored-key grammar sign and discard take, so a TRAILING separator is refused; a prefix outside this company lists nothing.
Options:
--limit <n>— Maximum records to return.--offset <n>— Records to skip before returning the page.--count— Print the number of records this list returns instead of the records themselves.
dots files sign
dots files sign [options] <path>
Mint a fresh short-lived signed URL for a stored file object path (e.g. <companyId>/<uuid>-name.png).
Arguments:
<path>— Stored file object key to re-sign (e.g. <companyId>/<uuid>-name.png).
dots files discard
dots files discard [options] <path>
Discard an uploaded object that was never committed to a row, page, or property. Removal is idempotent: an absent key succeeds.
Arguments:
<path>— Stored file object key to remove (e.g. <companyId>/<uuid>-name.png).
Options:
--yes— Confirm the destructive action (required; it cannot be undone).--dry-run— Resolve and report what would change; writes nothing.
dots human-md
dots human-md [options] [command]
Export / import HUMAN.md documents as .md files.
dots human-md export
dots human-md export [options] <humanId>
Export a HUMAN.md doc to a Markdown file (one-way; the in-app doc stays source of truth).
Arguments:
<humanId>— HUMAN.md doc human id to export (e.g. HMD-1).
Options:
--out <path>— Output file path (defaults to HUMAN.md in the current directory).
dots human-md import
dots human-md import [options] <path>
Import a Markdown file as a new HUMAN.md doc (one-time seeding; the body renders in-app).
Arguments:
<path>— Path to the Markdown file to import.
Options:
--title <title>— Doc title (defaults to the file's first heading, else HUMAN.md).--default— Also set the imported doc as the per-user global default HUMAN.md.--idempotency-key <key>— Retry key for this create. Re-running the same command with the same key returns the row the first run created instead of a duplicate; reusing it with changed content is refused as a conflict. Safe to reuse across commands — each derives its own key from yours.
dots human-md active
dots human-md active [options]
Read the doc human-md import --default pinned as your default HUMAN.md — the read side of that write. It resolves the personalization setting's row id to the document itself; dots settings get personalization still returns the raw id untouched. Nothing pinned, or a pinned id that no longer names a readable row, is answered as a null carrying that reason at exit 0 — a state of the setting, not a fault.
